“I am the guide in your pocket. Where are we going today?”

What makes us different

A usual audio guide knows ten cities by heart.
Ours knows the one you are standing in.

Briefly: what we do differently — and why you notice it on the first walk.

Any city, not a shop window of capitals

Stories are not pre-recorded for a dozen tourist centres. The app builds a walk for the place you are actually in — including the small town nobody has heard of.

The city from above: rooftops and viewpoints

A separate section for places the whole city is visible from: roofs, terraces, towers, hills. With opening hours, so you do not climb up to a locked door.

The story starts on its own

Walk up to a building and the story begins. No hunting for the place in a list and pressing play: the tour keeps going with the phone in your pocket and the screen locked.

Point the camera — find out what you are looking at

“Ask me” works for things that are in no route at all: the odd house on the corner, a monument in a courtyard, a sign everyone walks past.

Your language, not “English only”

The interface and the narration speak the traveller’s language. For a European city PoGu can tell the story in almost any language — a new one does not mean rewriting the content.

Checked facts, not pretty inventions

Every story is built from sources and verified against them before it reaches your ears. A good legend stays a legend — and is called one.

A route for you, not one for everybody

An hour before the train, or a whole day? Mark the places yourself — the app builds a sensible path between them and tells you honestly how long it takes.

No subscription: the city stays yours

You pay for a city once and it is yours for good, together with the language you listen to it in. No monthly charges for a walk you took in May.

Rooftops and viewpoints

Look at the city from above — and see how it is put together.

Bar roofs, cathedral galleries, town-hall towers, hills over the river. PoGu collects them into their own section, shows the distance and the opening hours — and tells you what exactly to look at from up there.

Ask me
Recognised Pantheon

Its dome is still the largest unreinforced concrete dome in the world — and the hole at its centre is open, so the rain comes in.

Point the camera at a building and hear its story, even if it is in no route.

The traveller’s language

The city speaks your language

A story is built once and then told in the language you picked: the interface, the text and the narration. For a European city that works in almost any language, and adding a new one does not mean writing the content again.
